Man 1: So tell us, what kind of detective work did you have to do to uncover the secret hideout of infamous fugitive D.B. Cooper? Man 2: I was looking for a new character in Pokemon Go... Man 3: Farfetch'd? Man 4: To you, maybe, but that's what happened!
Ok… nobody’s here…so I don’t know whether to explain this or wait till somebody asks.
I’m sure some of you are totally up-to-date on the culture…and will think it’s funny that others of us (raises hand) had absolutely no clue….
But I’m thinking we clueless ones might be the majority, what with the no-comments thing going on.
So…. I guess I’ll tell you…I suspected “Farfetch” or “Farfetch’d” might be a Pokemon character…and indeed, this little guy is called “Farfetch’d”
And in “Pokemon Go” you somehow “catch” Pokemon characters that appear all around you..that is, when you watch your surroundings on your phone instead of by looking where you’re going…inspiring passersby to shout things like “Look out for that truck, you @#$%! MORON!!!”
