Zuzu was one of George Bailey’s daughters in “It’s a Wonderful Life.” The petals … I dunno.

Just be grateful he’s wearing pants.

Pam’s expression should be bottled and sold on the open market.

Zuzu’s petals - in George’s pocket - lets George know he is back in the present - with family, with friends…. that is just the BEST show.

I like the blending of “A Christmas Carol” and “It’s a Wonderful Life.” Two of the most beloved Christmas classics.

Good question, you must be old! I remember her too! Of course I was a kid!

There’s no color on Cul de Sac this week either. I think someone got a holiday vacation this week. And if daily strips were meant to be in color, the original creator would do it or at least exercise creative control.

Hmmm. This one’s got me baffled a bit. There are several websites about Zuzu’s Petals… selling clothes… selling flowers… selling jewelry… ??? ‘course, I never watched IAWL, couldn’t get past the gag reflex

Maybe they decided having color was a bad idea. I think Cul de Sac looks better black and white.

I’ll take ‘em either way, so long as they’re here.

If I ever felt “as giddy as a schoolgirl,” I sure as hell wouldn’t announce it.

“Zuzu’s petals” is indeed a quote from “Wonderful Life,” and Zhu Zhu Pets were one of the hot toys this Christmas.

From one a the best Christmas movies “Its a wondereful life”. The petals are from George Bailys daughters flower she got as an award from school and a few petals fell off. He pretends to paste them back on and puts them in his pocket. As he is seeing what his life would be like if he wasn’t born they aren’t there, and after he finds them back and this the one thing he does check for. I’d recommend watching this movie.

Crazy but harmless and pleasant.
