Brewster hasn’t met the resident Evil Aliens yet.
Obviously he has not learned from the Elder Chronicles. I speak of Star Trek: The Original Series – “The Way to Eden”.

He forgot the giant neon arrow visible from space inviting people to land there.
It’s amazing how Brewster knows exactly where to drill for oil.
It looks messy now but we’ll clean it up…
No large scale wind turbines or solar farms – or there won’t be any wildlife left.
On the down wind side of windfarms there is no wind. No cooling breeze. Just perfect for global warming.
So much for that planet.
Why do I think Brewster didn’t get around to reading your post yesterday?
If you don’t want religion on your new world then you better tell the tree huggers; they will likely expect certain habits and rules to be followed that they think will benefit the flora and fauna. And there goes your ‘no religion rule’.
Northwest Washington is big on logging, and the bumper stickers there read, “Earth First….. we’ll log the other planets later.”
Well, I’m surprised they didn’t stop on the moon….and everybody knows it’s made of cheese! ;-)
