I suspect the simulation of my reality is running Windows Me.

Years ago, I joked that dark matter was actually the result of a bug in the software that runs the Universe. At the time, the idea that the Universe was a simulation was little known, and offbeat.

Wasn’t there a joke somewhere about the end of existence when God woke up and realized He was having a nightmare?
