Only … contact … intelligent life!

Just consider the fact that they have also chosen to let sleeping dogs lie and not contact us.

Spare them the agony.

We’d turn an exoplanet into an ex-planet.

Just like us? What you want to start the first world war between different worlds?

Depends. Do they have social media?

I don’t trust them!

I’ve always imagined that I wouldn’t like myself very much if I ever met me. I think I’d roll my eyes at myself alot.

I’m with the crew, that would be a disaster.

People are smart. They can handle it. A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it. Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you’ll know tomorrow.

And the plot twist is when the audience finds out the planet they discovered is Earth.

“You mean another planet populated by idiots? Wow, no thanks.”

So frightening, especially if they, too, will soon be looking for another planet to live on.

Better hope that planet’s name isn’t Mondas.
