Prescient.

There are actually four versions of The Scream. The others are probably for the electric bill, rent and the nightly news.

Of course, it is the land that is screaming, not the man. That’s why he is covering his ears.

Now I’n confused! The audio recording has him saying, "No, Brewster, don’t do it!’

Just wait until you see his face when I’m sitting next to him releasing my “gas” for free…

Pretty sure no one worried about gasoline prices in 1893 when Edvard Munch painted The Scream. It was a dangerous cleaning fluid you bought in a small bottle and kept in a shed.

Greedy Gas Giants gouge guzzlerdrivers. Yeah, it’s going down here, too, but half the comics today are trying to joke about it.

I know, those .99 on the end of the prices drive me crazy. Just who is fooling whom?

Gas prices are dropping. Must be Biden’s fault.

And I had always just assumed he was watching the news.

In my College days (circa 1971), Whiting Brothers regularly had .23 cents per gallon, including Arizona and Federal Tax. Alas, I drove a VW Bug and got 36 mpg, so I never really appreciated how good I had it.

Okay, that IS funny.

Confuscious says, “When drawing a political cartoon, don’t do the usual 6-week turnaround lest things change and you look foolish.” Gas has been dropping. Oh, we’re still getting screwed by the oil and gas companies, but instead of being ripped off by $2/gallon, they’ve magnanimously agreed to only $1/gallon. Note that supply and demand went completely unchanged. That’s how you know they were ripping us off.

Not too timely, given the current drop in gas prices. I paid $3.98 a gallon on Thursday.

It’s the producers of crude that are screwing with us. It’s gone from $125 a barrel down to around $103 a barrel in four weeks. Finished products such as gasoline and #2 heat follow suit.

Sick to death of gasoline…
