Did this past year’s desk calendar just feature different (kinds of) desks?

A desk calendar desk calendar, brilliant. Although I seem to remember something done along these lines in the past…, I will have to check my coffee table coffee table book.

I did that. I’d go to the pop-up calendar stores at places that used to be called “malls” (for you kids today) in the first weeks of January, when they started discounting everything to get rid of inventory. I’d pick up about 12 monthly calendars and an armful of 365-a-Day units for maybe the regular price of four. And I’d read them instead of working. Ahh, good times. Cheaper than books and almost as funny.

Luckily I saved my old 1950s calendar. It matches 2023. It still has Confederate Heroes’ Day and Evacuation Day though…..

Well, whatever, it’s still better than one devoted to cats.

Clever idea. The best calendar idea I ever had was back in 2001, that someone should publish a calendar celebrating the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. What could be more appropriate?

My wife and I shop every year for a wall calendar for our kitchen. We like browsing through the store until we find one we can agree on. 2022 and 2023, we chose the same one (different images, of course) — it’s devoted to the joys of coffee.

    Happy New Year!

Infinite incursions recursions recursiveness. I’ll get it right eventually…or not.
