I don’t know why they put those deer crossings signs on the highway. They shouldn’t be encouraging the deer that way. I’d put up a No Crossing sign, instead.

Are Space Deer an invasive species?

Reminds me of a story by the great Stanislaw Lem about mutated space potatoes attacking spacecraft. It took that wacky space hero Ijon Tichy to figure it out.

While Lem is known for “Solaris”, he wrote an incredible variety of stories including Ijon Tichy’s humorous space (and time) voyages, classic fables about two robot engineers and some great science fiction mysteries.
