It may have been a long time, but her zapper is obviously in good working order.

It’s a miracle the car didn’t blow up under a barrage like that.

I new somebody once who got tired of the kids his garbage cans and slinging them across his yard from inside the car.. He put concrete in the bottom of the cans and after one try there was no more problem. Getting almost yanked out of a moving car when the can wouldn’t move was apparently a learning experience.

Our neighbor put up a steel pole filled with concrete next to the mailboxes for our street. Several mornings thereafter, we found a dented 2x4 with some paint from the concrete filled pole on it lying a few yards away.

More tragically, the same mentality led kids to drive a high speed though the bend marked with multiple 10mph max speed signs. Once or twice a year, we would hear the screech of tires in the wee hours, and another young fool would plow into the same long suffering oak tree.

If I had magical powers like Broomie. I would have dismantled their car, not damaging it, but leaving it in about a million pieces. Imagine them having to explain that one to their parents.

Dirty Charisma I think the small guy was just so small he’s a smoking pile of charred bones with some shreds of skin….not even enough for Dr. G to identify.

This was tremendously satisfying - I lived for 20 years in a neighborhood where this happened a lot. Wish the drones could have gotten such a reward…

Sadly, Stuart Gathman, there will always be that “same mentality” you spoke of that controls some people. The real tragedy is that there are often the innocent ones that pay the price for that “same mentality”.

The very first panel, with just the eyes sticking out of the mailbox kind of reminds me of Grelber, although Grelber lived in a log with a mail box on top of it.

On my computer there are 4 zaps but only 3 ows. So I guess one of them was demolished completely.

No, sorry, I checked again. There are 3 zaps. But there are 4 lightning bolts hitting inside the car, as well as others around it.

Joe-Allen “Joe” Doty said, But, USPS letter carriers don’t deliver the mail on Sundays.

She wasn’t waiting for the mail, she was trying to get some sleep. Assuming this is occurring on a Sunday, and there’s really no reason to assume that, she may have chose the mailbox for her nap because she expected to be uninterrupted by carriers.
