This year, at the nest I had followed before, in Alberta, Canada, the male falcon courted five different females(!), who all rejected him, and then it was too late in the season to keep looking. So maybe next year…
So this year, I followed owls. There’s a wonderful site for Barn Owls, in England, at
run by a non-profit organization called Barn Owl Trust. And if you think kittens are cute, or other small animals, wait till you see owlets! But then, most adult owls are very good-looking also.
Am I correct that your avatar is a female snowy owl? I have learned to recognise a few owl species, not all.
