Broomie reminds me of my mother. Even in her 80’s, she didn’t want to go to the family reunion because of all the old people there.

It disturbs me when I met old people that are younger than I am.

Best part of growing old you start having fewer and fewer enemies…assuming you have outlived them that is

MIL was in her 90s and in a Home for the Aged. She spoke to us of the OLD people. This was for the old people. That was for the old people. They had this or that for the old people. She never thought of herself as an old person.

The gang of us down at the Veteran’s Administration therapy pool get a lot of laughs about our conditions, the parts we got left, and we most all feel like we enlisted with Broomie’s first husband Atilla the Hun 1500 years ago….Get back on the ride Broomie..Keep ’Em flying…..

I agree with Broomie’s sentiment. I can’t stand all the Old People I see at events like class reunions, when I am energetic enough to go to one….
