These days, there are some incredibly good vegi-burgers. A few years ago, those that attempted to be fake meat (e.g. Boca) were terrible and the rest (e.g. Gardenburger) made no attempt to taste like real meat. But today you can get Impossible and Beyond burgers, which, while not perfect copies, taste really great. And they’re even available from restaurant chains (e.g. Burger King’s Impossible Whopper and Dunkin Donuts’ breakfast sandwiches with Beyond saussage.)
Memories of the “Anchor Club” at the fleet landing in Sasebo, Japan in the early 60’s…After a 18 hour day and a 8 hour midwatch…Nothing was as great as two "Jumbo burger’ with plenty of Mayo, fries and a couple two, three or more "Carling Black Labels for breakfast…out and off ready to hit the bars when they opened….

Kale…maybe, but I refuse to eat something that may sound like a foot disease…

She’s been alive for several hundred years. Eat and enjoy that burger. Though, I might not add that additional mayo…..
