I have two large birch trees that I like a lot. Except in fall. The last leaf doesn’t fall until after Christmas and if I don’t get the little quarter-sized leaves off the lawn, there’s a dead spot where each one laid. Leaf control is an on-going process for months. I hate it.
And who made the rule that it’s Broom Hilda’s responsibility to rake all those leaves? Why don’t the buzzard and the troll get up off their butts and do their share?

Don’t worry Broomie! That kid over on Peanuts Street has started up a leaf-raking business.

Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor had a machine that sucked the leaves right off of the tree.

I can’t understand why the thought of yard work upsets so many people!!
After all, there are machines that literally vacuum up leaves neatly into plastic bags (and are they noisy!!).

Just use the mower and mulch them in place. Much easier and more beneficial.

She is a witch, she can just zap them to her neighbors property. Is that not what the leaf blower guys do…

The leaves where I live don’t really change colors, they go from green to a yellow brown. Then I mow them up and bag them for disposal.

Meanwhile, look out for that monster hiding by the tree trunk!

Why rake? Just have Broomie fly low and fast and blow the leaves away!!!!!

I love yardwork. And the nice part is that it is so windy here that in no more than two days, all the leaves are in the next state!

That’s mighty big of you to observe her doing the racking.

If God wanted them raked up, He wouldn’t have put them on the ground!
