C’mon Buckles, you can get up on my couch…..

My dog is always on the couch or a chair with one of us!

If I’m sitting on the couch she sits with me. Sometimes she gets on the couch when she’s tired of sleeping on the floor. It’s all good. Whatever makes them feel good.

My dog sleeps on her own blankie on my furniture by my choice. She generally does ask permission to jump up, but I am not strict about it. A dog who is trying to take over the house should not be allowed up, or if allowed, absolutely should ask for permission, which should sometimes not be granted. I am happy my dog is not a dominant at all. She also gets down and sleeps in a dog bed sometimes.

Bad Paul, off the couch, it belongs to Buckles.

Come on, Paul! What’s your problem? Buckles deserves to get on the couch!

We bought couch covers that wash up really easy…the cats have the run of the living room.
