What a relief the precious Buckles in all of the panels today , him and Paul in the third panel is a riot for sure . David , thanks for the sweater on the precious Buckles today it is just precious as is he : )
I worked in an industrial rental store in Sun Valley, ID. We had several snowblowers we rented out. I disliked working on those more than any other item we supplied, including the road graders and front end loaders.
Seems I recall someone mentioning no opportunity to use a new blower for three years. All the same, Paul is in for it after he first cranks it or someone finds it while spying on Paul.
In hindsight, Paul’s decision to get the snowblower roo early is genius. When the snow hits hard, they’ll be selling out this way and that! Perhaps the arc will end with Paul not being able to play with his new toy, but…we all know what the true ending is!
Here in Arizona (with the exception of the Sierra area around Flagstaff) a snowblower is something you will not be buying. What you will definitely buy if you purchase a home, or won’t rent anywhere that is not already installed, it’s an air conditioner. By April temperatures are already hovering in the 90s. I guess you can imagine what they are in July.
It’s mid-December almost now. In the next ten days here, we will have significant snowfall 3 days and a lovely “frozen mix” for one other day. Where I live, we rue the Ides of December, January, February, March, and sometimes April. Plus, all the non-Ides days. We had way too much snowfall this year in November, too. I wish sometimes I had snowshoes. I have seen snow in May. And October.

It’s been my experience that the real snow doesn’t show up until at least January.

Just bury it in the back section of the shed / garage, that should bring a good sized blizzard!

At least it’s something compared to how Calvin’s dad refuses to get a snow blower, preferring to shovel snow by hand, or have Calvin do it.

I have never lived in a place that I even thought about buying a snow blower, nor do I want to.
