Now my dog refuses to look at a mirror. She will look sort of embarrassed if I carry her over to one to see herself. This is a big step from the first morning here when she growled at herself. It was a very mild growl, as she is an extremely friendly dog; all the dogs in the neighborhood just love her.
After I groom my dog, she looks in the mirror and barks at herself because she doesn’t recognize now that all of her long hair is shorter. Otherwise she’s fine with the mirror and realizes what it’s for.

Have you tried telling him it’s a mirror and he is the other dog he sees? Or did he not believe you?

Uh oh, judging by those crashes, I’d say that Buckles has just given himself seven years bad luck.
