That is so true! Our Rottweilers particularly used their eyebrows to semaphore what was on their minds at the time (it was usually food related) and were hilarious to watch.
My wife would read the paper and when she got to the pet section, she’d read aloud to one of our male Rotts the listings. She’d say something along the lines of, “There are guinea pigs for sale Max! Can you believe it?” Max would then roll his eyes and the spots over each eye would jump up and down a few times. It was so funny to watch him. I sure miss that pup.
It reminds me of one Peanuts strip where after Linus got glasses, Lucy was doing eye exercises to avoid having to wear glasses like Linus, only for Linus to tell her that that won’t keep her from getting glasses later in life.
