Wait until they get home and praise you for not being on the couch. They will be so proud of you and you will feel so much better.

Our 100# shepherd mix will get off the couch and/or stay off the couch when you tell her but she will take every pillow and blanket off the couch and make a bed on the floor where she can stare at us.

Is this a “No good deed goes unpunished” moment?!

Stop complaining, Buckles, at least you’re not on the couch anymore.

Buckles you’re smarter than that! You didn’t have to ask Flea what you should do. You knew it was wrong when you jumped up on the sofa, did you get confused??

Buckles …… look on the bright side, you might be uncomfortable ….. “BUT” …. you probably won’t end up in the garage …… :)
