The grim reaper plays with his skeleton dog. He throws a stick and the dog goes to fetch it and gets hit by a car. The dog becomes living instead of dying and the grim reaper starts crying.
There is some complex theology here, as in all Buni strips.
Not to take away from the punchline of the strip, but couldn’t Death make the dog die again and turn him back into a skeleton or something like that?
