Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for January 24, 1987
Transcript:
Hobbes: I'll make a list of possible gifts for Susie's birthday. What should we give her? Calvin: How about a mouth full of broken teeth? That's waht I'd like to give her. Hobbes: Oh, don't be so cranky. Hobbes: I think we should get her a can of tuna fish. Calvin: Tuna fish? Why would she want that? Hobbes: Well, maybe she wouldn't, and we could offer to take it back...and borrow some bread, a litle mayo... Calvin: Right, Hobbes.
Tis better to receive than give.
