Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for June 15, 1988
Transcript:
Calvin: Remember last year, when it rained all week? It poured so hard we couldn't even make a fire. Without question, that was one of the worst experieces of my life. Dad: Yes, but it built character. Calvin: Oh, sure. Why can't I ever build character at a Miame condo or a casino somewhere?
note that he says “last year” when mentioning the last camping trip, meaning that time really does move, calvin just doesn’t age.
