Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for March 12, 1992
Transcript:
Calvin: I don't want to go to school! I hate school! I'd rather do anything than go to school! Dad: OK, how about if I go to school and you get a job? Dad: You'll like working till evening and being responsible for the subsistence of your family, with a whiny kid's griping for reward. Calvin: It's nice to know there's so much in life to look forward to.
Well, you don’t have to get married and have a kid. Then you keep all your money and spend it on what you think is important. Then you can just be lonely!
