Well; since Calvins is going to be immortalized on a postage stamp, I say go for it Calvin. Make us proud.

@Deanna175 I see that Calvin’s going to be on a postage stamp. The others in the series put him in good company…..I was surprised to see that Peanuts was not among the cartoons though….

In July the post office will be releasing a “comic strips” series in the stamps, and guess who is there? Yep. Unfortunately, there is only one stamp of Calvin and Hobbes makin funny faces for the camera.

They (C & H) shouls have a complete plate of 20 satmps, IMHO.

It takes an uncommon mind to think in uncommon ways, Calvin.

If my son had asked my permission every time he planned to go for gusto, he would have been in a lot less trouble. And pain.

On the other hand, his life would have been pretty boring.

i heard a rumor about this strip, it’s the legendary noodle incident.

No need to mention it to mom….the school will be calling her about it within the hour.

Last year here in SC KS we got a good view of the space shuttle and ship in orbit. The local news said it would be close and last only 5 min view time so true. I wonder if Calvin just planing his own adventure and mom gets a call from school saying he never showed up. And Calvin rides school bus.

kab2rb, I’ve heard of “NOLA” and “NY, NY”, but what’s “SC KS”? I thought Sioux City was in a Dakota or something. “Small City, Kansas”?

Check out the time when the shuttle departs the station. If you’re lucky, and a clear sky, you can see both in orbit, just a little bit away from each other.

The best things in life are all GUSTO!

There has been days in school and after school years that I felt that way but I am a slave to food shelter and family .But Calvin helps me dream of such freedom we have as children
