Aw, that’s part of the story I had forgotten!

You have Mum, Dad! It’s better to have somebody to snuggle, when ever he is weak, than to have nobody. I flee to God, when I have nobody to snuggle, that mostly helps!

You do just fine, Dad!

You get to snuggle back, you lucky so-and-so! (Yes, I admit it, I’ve always crushed on Calvin’s mom.)

I like snuggling with willing nubile females. And if they act like a tiger they get extra special attention.

Dad ! Who said anything about your being grown up ? And why do you need to snuggle upto anyone ? You are the stuffed animal. Get it ?

And the same goes for us gals liking to snuggle up with the willing males!!!

I would think that snuggling in Montana would be a question of survival in the winter!!!!!!

You’re the grown up because it’s your turn. She can be the grownup next time.

C’mon, Dad, if nothing else let the testosterone kick in.

Both of you can snuggle and be comforted. Try it, it works.

We both find a baseball bat and a flashlight under the bed very comforting when there’s a unfamiliar noise in the night!

I like to have two pillows on my both sides when I am discomforted by my unwilling imagination. But I guess tigers are more effective.

I miss snuggling…

Dad’s complaining!!!

I wish I could snuggle with my hubby. After 36 years of working in an aircraft co. his body is like a furnace and I start sweating. He decided to retire then months later place he worked at started downsizing major to half the size. Still more troubles. I guess where stuck with spammers. Gocomics must not mind them.

FYI: Bill Watterson wrote that this particular storyline was based on an actual break-in at their home. The comic reflected alot of their feelings about it—maybe even the snuggling part?

I have a feeling that, knowing what snuggling generally leads to, Calvin’s dad does not want to risk having another Calvin.

Because you’re on that side of the bed, ditso. Sheech, enough already…

Dad found his one thing he is good for, protector of the house. Although most people put their valuables in a bank vault. It’s just possessions any way.

Dino 1 better just to keep cell phone in bedroom. Shut and lock the door and wait for 911 police to come. No sense in being a knife cushion trying to be brave.

There are people who wonder of men are necessary any more. These are the moments that justify our continued existence.

W6BXQ, Okay, you may have Miss Wormwood if she’s willing, but leave Susie alone for at least another 12 years. Pibgorn is probably nubile, so that leaves her out for you. :o)

I’ve been through this, and Bill depicted the emotions we went through very accurately.
