I’m not sure the garage is such a good place for Calvin with all of a garages little treasures, but unfortunately, I don’t think the house comes equipped with a jail cell.

Do they even make a garage door that can withstand a Calvin?

I own a few calvin and hobbes books and from there I gather that they think that rosalyn is a tyrant and a bad choice

I remember two baby sitters with fondness. Both had very hard hands and an ability to open the lock on the liquor cabinet. By ten I ruled.

apparently she at least left a light on. If the garage is where the paint is kept I’d like to see Calvin give the car a new paint job.

Just as kids pay for their raising when they have some of their own, baby sitters will also suffer the same fate when they have to find sitters for their rotten brats! Karma!

I agree with what everyone has said about Calvin in the garage. Another factor garage is too hot for anyone to be in.

Calvin’s lucky, my babysitters always locked me in the closet.

Calvin is in reality by himself and talking to a doll in a garage.

way funny! I was a babysitter once! that’s the humor, they are still alive, hes talking to his imaginitive friend, and its not forever….I realize I am a parent now and this would be unacceptable…but think about when you were the sitter! lol

We had a similar problem with a neighbor’s baby sitter. We were on a REA 9-person party line that had a timer function, ie so many minutes until cut off so someone else would have a chance. However, this did not work on long distance calls. Soon as the parents left, her friend from Quincy would call her and tie up the line all evening.
