Lots of Sunday comics will have one or two cells that can be used for filler depending on a newspaper’s comic section layout for that particular issue. Including or omitting it doesn’t effect the overall story.
It is amazing to me that the people who are so against voter ID requirements have no problem with foreigners observing/monitoring our poling places. Hypocrites!
I miss those days when we were allowed to burn our leaf piles. Nothing says Autumn like the smell of burning leafs. Jumping into a big pile (unlit) was a lot of fun, too.
Reminds me of the time some 65 years ago when I got the bright idea of hoisting myself up the side of a tree Batman style. Threw a rope over a limp and tied it to my belt. I then pulled on the rope as I tried walking horizontally up the trunk. I got about 4 to 6 feet from the ground when my belt broke. Landed flat on my back and was sore for two weeks. It is a wonder I didn’t break my neck. Later, it was really scary raising three boys because of these type memories.
