The future isn’t what it used to be, Calvin!

No doubt about it, this arc is my all-time favorite.

Future Calvin does seem to be the better of the two.

I think I recall this arc from the first time round :D

(spoiler) How about if it works, but not in the way he would like (he has a story and gets a good grade—but at price of being in really unfavourable light)?

Future Calvin isn’t better…he’s still passing the buck.(Sometimes I think that should be an Olympic sport…other times, I’m convinced it already is.)

Calvin should have gone ahead in time, stolen Susie’s report, then gone back in time and shown it to her so she couldn’t plagiarize it.

Lol.. If u want something done you gotta do it yourself.. Especially if you’re a irresponsible, disobedient kid. :)

How long ago was the assignment given to him? I don’t remember. Could he go back to that time and do it? Could he pick up a work ethic along the way?

Calvin is a ‘nut’ if he doesn’t ‘bolt’ back into the past and write his story!

Calvin should go back and write a cock and bull story about traveling into the future in a cardboard box with a tiger!

He’s learned to pass the buck. He’s ready to run for office.

Like setting around in your underwaredrinking coffee and reading online comics.

Now I think they have to go back in time, to quote another song.

This almost reaches the Stephen Hawking level.

When you’re young you want to use the time machine to go to the future, when you’re older you want to go to the past.In the present, we fear the future and regret the past.

Compromise – Write the report and submit it, THEN time travel back and change the grade.

Calvin could go into 1 day into the future amd steal someone else’s home work and right in his name

Ow. While y’all are thinking about the paradoxes of time travel, I’m thinking about that last line from 8:30 Calvin.

Kind of hit a little too close to home for me. Like I said—ow.

In his constant kicking, screaming, crying, and wailing to not get on the school bus to take him to school; while his Mom has to resort to brute force! — he merely lets us know us what time of day it is: it is 8:30 A.M. Aah, another day, another dollar.

In a funny sort of way… this time-travel logic makes perfect sense. Keep it coming (or has it gone already?)!

Thats what must have happened to me,somebody or something screwed up my past?

I have always had trouble winning an argument with myself.

Since Calvin is always complaining about being a kid, he should go into the future when he is an adult.

Hopefully the destruction of the fabric of time and space caused by the paradox will be restricted to our own galaxy.

if you went back in time, the homework would dissapear wouldnt it? hobbes raised this qeustion in anaother series. i dont remember the date (by the way, im new here)

@Hansternator,It’s confusing, but Calvin of the future couldn’t have it yet, since it hasn’t been done. If Calvin goes back and does it, then Calvin of the future will have it after it’s done!
