That’s the power of IMAGINATION!

The best summer vacation memory I’ve got is that we got to have ice cream TWICE in ONE day (Fudge Ripple).

No, that’s just how other people see his disguise. ;)

Keep your sense of proportion, Calvin.

Wait until you grow up and find summer vacation is only – at most – two weeks (and you find it necessary to spend it reclaiming the back yard…)

Mom just had to ruin the whole thing

Since the garbage is in a paper bag, you’d think she would ask Calvin to put the whole thing in the trash.

I laughed for 5 minutes when I read this. I made my 17-year-old daughter read it and asked her if she recognized anybody. She has a cow when you ask her to unload the dish washer. 3 minutes out of her day, she acts the the worlds ending.

Well, Hobbs isn’t complaining about child abuse and slave labor.

Only 14 hours of play, and 5 whole minutes of work…UGH!! Life isn’t fair!

I used to feel sad too. But then my sister told me he just pretend being stuffed! So… Hobbes is real! Just not everyone see him))

This gets the six year old mind beautifully.

Here in KS one town school starts 8/11 starts, local metro starts Tuesday, another district starts Wednesday or Thursday. Jr. college starts Thursday.Children are ready to go back. Parents who have children and are teacher’s are ready to go back.

It’s sad that his best friend is a stuffed tiger. No other little boys in the neighborhood?

Enjoy it while you can.

Yes. As an adult summer will take on a whole new meaning.
