It’s definitely hard to think like a 6-year-old at times. Probably even harder to think like a stuffed tiger..…but Watterson seems to get it right every time! The man’s phenomenal! It must be telepathy or something.
I remember when they used to put neat prizes in cereal. We had a bunch of the walking camels at one time. You would drop a weight over the edge of the table and the camel would walk to the edge of the table. As i recall, it would stop at the edge and never fell off the table. Of how I wish we knew back then how valuable those little toys would be today! We would have saved a bunch of them. Same goes for those old metal lunch boxes with the thermos in them. We had a bunch of the Disney school bus ones as well as my Flying Nun and my brothers with Gentle Ben and The Flintstones. Ah memories….
