Rosalyn already knew back then that a good babysitter is worth their weight in gold. A good babysitter who can handle Calvin is worth her weight in processed plutonium!
Wow….when I was a teenager, babysitting in the ’70s, I got two dollars an hour at night. One dollar an hour in the afternoon. Even back then, it would be more than 5 dollars, especially with a difficult child. When is this, the ’50s???? LOL
They must have paid her the regular fee up front, now the $5 is the bonus. But they need to pay her a lot more than $5 since she worked more hours than planned.
It appears you’re Canadian, eh? Seen a lot of immigrating American liberals lately?
LE, you know I like you but we do not share the same political views. That is one of the reasons I do not post political views on C&H; I do not want to hurt the relationships that have been developed here.
Just want to let you know, we liberals aren’t going anywhere.
Well, she did put him to bed at 6:30…she deserves what she got and she doesn’t deserve extra money for sticking him in his room and talking to her boyfriend all night.

Roslyn should just send Calvin’s folks the bill for first year’s tuition and have them pay all at once.

You couldn’t find a baby sitter for that price now. You’d have to add another zero in there!!
