It seems that girls are ready to play with boys about 3 years before boys are ready to play with girls.

It’s Mr. Bun’s way of saying he’s not giving Calvin the time of day!

That comment about Susie playing in a microwave is SOOO politically incorrect.

heheh- I was so young when I first read this that I had no idea what “comatose” meant. Hilarious line from Hobbes, and a perfect horrifying insult from Calvin. Could you even say that in a strip targeted at children these days?

The phrase I heard was ‘go play in traffic’.

Mr. Bunn knows Hobbes eats bunnies. Playing dead is the safest way.

Mr. Bun is comatose because Susie has no imagination.

Even slugs have a purpose.

Just the thought of Calvin as his father, Mr. Bunn lapsed into a vegetative state.
