To borrow from Dr. Suess: “Then Calvin got an idea; an AWFUL idea! Calvin got a wonderful, awful idea!” With the look on Calvin’s face, I couldn’t resist it…

Uh oh is right.

I do not remember what the idea is and I already know that it is NOT fabulous.

I recall how this went, although of course I won’t say. But it’s no spoiler to say that Susie always gets the best of Calvin.

Calvin’s fabulous ideas seldom turn out well.

There is absolutely positively NO possible way this can go wrong!—-Right? :-)

Nice going, Hobbes…you just HAD to give Calvin an idea!

When I first saw this strip, this was how I knew Calvin was (in a lot of ways) the main villain of the strip as well as the star.
