Does Calvin ever learn from Hobbes’ wisdom??

If Calvin was real, maybe he would be the youngest philosopher or the first child philosopher.

The problem with “Live for the moment” is when you have no money. So you usually end up working a job and living for the weekend.

Look down the road and don’t stare into the headlights!

In kindergarten we were walked to an intersection several times and taught to cross safely. “Look left, look right, look left again.” I still instinctively do this, in my S. European city where jaywalking is an art form.

Both ways

I used to sound out my thoughts as I worked though my troubled teen years, some how speaking out loud made my analysis seem more focused.

A better motto would be ‘look both ways before crossing the road’.

In these days of the zombie apocalypse, i.e. people nose in their mobile phones. Just looking would be nice.

“Trust but verify.”

Or look in both directions……

Foolish tiger. You gotta looks both up and down the road.

“Look both ways when crossing a one-way street.”
