So I ran out of a bit of steam regarding going through drawers, but back up and it is fun finding old treasures, memories and deciding who to palm them off on, er share with.
IF I’d known it was going to be a year plus, I could have planned a long term project. I honestly thought we could do a one month lockdown and knock this out.
I’ve also been coming to this realization. Apparently, the problem (for me) has not been time, it has been motivation. Although I do think that cleaning up does create a mess first.
“If wishes and buts were candy and nuts, we’d have Christmas every day”. I never did get my pantry organized (though I could still do that), but I did go from a size 16 to a size 14. And also am in the low 180s weight wise, so that’s something. We are dealing with spikes in a number of states, so we’re not out of the woods just yet. But vaccinations are continuing to ramp up and I remain optimistic that by August or September most of the US will be back to some kind of normalcy. There might be flareups in states that had scotched their mask mandates too early (hello, TX & MS) but the rest of the country could reach herd immunity by late summer/early fall. And, once the drug companies administer “booster” vaccine shots that will combat the new variants, by Spring of 2022 we should have an America that will be more like 2019 than 2020.

This is perfect proof why “IF” is the largest word in the English language!
