Saleswoman: The new jacket is worn buttoned, which obliterates any sign of a chest, and is cropped to fall exactly on the widest part of the hip. It's worn with a knee-grazing skirt and modest pumps, the combination of which makes the thighs look mammoth and the calves look squatty. Accessories are nonexistent, except for a teeny molded purse, too small to hold anything but the hankie you'll be weeping into when you get a load of yourself in a full-length mirror. Cathy: WAAH! Saleswoman: At last, fashion lives up to its promise.
