Cathy: Go relax, mom. I'll put those in the dishwasher. Mom: No, thanks. When there are so few, I just wash them by hand. Cathy: You have 75 clean plates in the cupboard. Why not put the dirty ones in the dishwasher?? Mom: It only takes a few minutes to do them by hand. Cathy: It takes zero minutes if you put them in the dishwasher. Mom: Nonsense. You still have to scrub them with soap and water first. Cathy: AAGH! Mom: We want the Christmas spirit to last all year, but first we want it to last for ten solid minutes in kitchen.
