Man: Bob and I chipped in to buy you this secretaries' day card, Charlene! Charlene: How lovely. I will now mix bob's and your client files all together in one heap. Mr. Pinkley: Jim and I chipped in to buy you this rose! Charlene: How sweet. I will now combine all of Jim's and your voice mails on one line for you to sort out. Before anyone else for whom I've done massive personal favors, comes in with a cheap group gift, please note that I have all your expense account receipts, and am poised to mix them in one big communal pot! I'm a team player. I'm not a team receiver.
Seriously, everyone there is so cheap. How hard is it to just get her a little gift on your own? True she pretty much forces them but they don’t make it any easier on themselves with all the “chipping in”
