Men on phone: We're number one!! Mom: I'm number two on your speed dialer, Cathy? Cathy: Of course! You're my Mother! Mom: Who's number one? Cathy: Nobody right now. Nobody's number one! Mom: If nobody's number one, why am I number two? Cathy: Alex used to be number one, but I deleted him when we broke up. Mom: I didn't move up to number one?? Cathy: You were already established as number two, Mom. I saved the number one spot for the next person I date. Mom: I'm behind someone you haven't met yet? A whole stream of losers could move in and out of the number one spot..but I, who will love you forever, am number two?! Cathy: You're right! I feel terrible! I'll change it! Mom: Change it?? Don't be silly! It's all set! Don't go to all the trouble of changing it!! Cathy: No one can top a Mother. Mom: Except on the speed dialer where we'll always be second. Dad: "Dad" didn't even make the list, I'm just presumed to be on the extension at Mom's house.
