Mom and Dad: We dreamed of an "instruction-free" vacation. It took us 57 tries over a ten-day period to buy plane tickets. Telephone: Press the pound key after your four-digit pin before your 16-digit located after your 35-digit member code. Both: Then we hit the self-serve e-ticket check in. The rental car had an electronic navigational system which insulted us in a foreigh language after our 26-minute effort to start the computerized ignition. Computer: Idiotas! Both: We couldn't open the door to our room. Arrow up! no. Arrow down! No. Arrow up! We also couldn't make a call, hear a message or adjust the air conditioner. Then we tried to turn on the TV. To access the option menu, press the select function. Etc. Etc. Etc. Mom: Isn't there anyplace left where lessons aren't required?? Dad: Please send a manual on how to get there.
