Cathy on phone: What? Mom: Hi! Are you thinking about a wedding dress, Cathy? Cathy: I'm at the office, Mom. Mom: I know. But are you thinking about a wedding dress? Cathy: I have piles of work to do! Mom: I can't stop thinking about wedding dresses! Cathy: Well, I have to stop. I have a big job with lots of responsibilities! I've spent a month obsessing about wedding things, and now I really, really, really need to get something else done! Voice outside office door: Are you thinking about my report? Cathy: I'm looking it over right now. No calls, no messages, no interruptions, no exceptions.
Last panel: I mean, she’s technically not lying. The report might be part of her head piece.
