Mrs. Hillman: Dad and I found a modest place of our own and are moving out this weekend. It will be better for everyone. Irving: You haven't been a problem, mom. We've hardly known you were here! Mrs. Hillman: EXACTLY! When we're here, we're invisible, When we're gone, we'll be a constant mental presence! When might we pop over?? How often might we call?? How guilty should you feel about not visiting more often?? We'll have much more of an impact if we're half a mile away! Irving and Cathy: HALF A MILE??? Mr. Hillman: Keep a blood pressure monitor on your front porch for when we walk over for our lunch.
This sounds like a prologue to “Everybody Loves Raymond” LOL
