Cathy Classics by Cathy Guisewite for January 23, 2011
Transcript:
Cathy: Stay out of this, mother! I'm not even going to tell you what it is because I don't want anymore input. Don't ask! Don't speculate! Don't presume! Don't even think! You'll confuse me! I want no advice! No suggestions! No comments! I am begging you! Do not speak!! Help me! What should I do?? Mom: When they talk about the joys of motherhood, no one ever mentions this part.
If Cathy’s parents had raised a more confident, independent and secure young woman, she wouldn’t now be such an insecure, needy basket case all the time. It’s a wonder she ever got married!
