Mom: Let me get your coat straightened out! Cathy: I'll clip your nails! Mom: I'll fix your tail! Cathy: I'll clean your ears! Electra: Help! I'm being organized! Cathy: Come back! I'll even up your bangs!
It isn’t just Cathy’s housekeeping that’s keeping them away. I’ve dropped into other places I frequent, and they all seem to be silent today.
Maybe . . . no, that’s silly. You don’t suppose they’ve all taken up jogging or reading or bungee jumping, and not told us?
