Mom: 74 beans?? Oh, no! We never eat more than 48 beans on Thanksgiving! Cathy: You count the beans, mother?? Mom: $1.36 a pound? No! We can get those for $1.22 a pound across town! Cathy: I'm not driving across town!! Mom: Not the 15-ounce can! We only need 12 ounces! Cathy: My time is more valuable than three ounces of mashed pumpkin! Mom: Two cooks can't share the same kitchen. Cathy: They also can't share the same list, cart or supermarket.
And we wonder how Cathy became so nutty.
I think my eyes hit my brain on that [eye-roll]. Ouch.
