Server: Do you need a few more minutes? Do you need a few more hours? Cathy: What are you going to have, Mom? Mom: I don't know, Cathy, what are you going to have? Cathy: It's Mother's Day, Mom. You should have whatever you want! Mom: I don't know what I want until I know what you want. Cathy: I don't know what I want until I know what you want. Mom: I don't know what I want until I know what you want. Cathy: I don't know what I want until I know what you want. Mom: Really? Cathy: I don't necessarily want what you want, but I need your opinion as a starting point to either rebel against or embellish upon. I also many or may not agree with what you want but I need to know what it is so I can volunteer my support or opposition! Cathy/Mom: I want what they're having at that table! People at other table: We don't know what we want! What do you want?? Server: Why do we even bother putting out menu's on Mother's Day? Dad: Could I get a glass of water or something?
No, I NEVER said or implied that an abused child deserves what he or she gets, but if you want to DELIBERATELY misinterpret what I said, that’s your problem! I do think it’s terrible when anyone is abused, but when you take it out on others and expect everyone to suffer for what you’ve been through, that’s bad also. See the latest news of Arial Castro as an example of someone who says he was abused (it is not confirmed, so don’t misinterpret that I don’t believe that you or Susan were abused) yet he never dealt with it and took it out on others. Not everyone needs to celebrate mothers, but why be rude to them deliberately? Heck, your response doesn’t even deserve a response because you are purposely putting incorrect words in my mouth, but I at least want to clarify that what you think I’m saying is totally WRONG and as usual you want to bully others into a fight. I usually ignore your comments, but today need to respond.
