Cathy: I waited for what seemed like my whole life and then, suddenly, there he was. I could talk to him. He understood my needs. I felt so taken care of. And then, right in the middle of making plans, he said he had to find something for me and that he'd be right back. And so I wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. Doubt creeps in. What if he forgot all about me? Suspicion rises. What if he picked up with someone else? Desperation takes over. Where are you?? Come back!! Don't dump me! Don't dump me! Don't dump m....*CLICK* Cathy: AACK!! My chin hit the button! I have to start all over again!! Blonde woman: Lost love? Charlene: Disconnected airline reservation person.
Back in the day I had a corded wall phone in my kitchen. I replaced the original cord with one that was about 25 feet long so I could walk around the house while I was on hold. I’m new to your group and just have to say, I love your comments.
