One makes the choices for what one eats. Husband and I eat at Wendys and McDonalds twice a week for lunch. We have the smallest burger and diet soda. NO FRIES. Cost is minimal food is sufficient and well within calories, fat, etc. one should have for lunch.
Fries, meals, and upgrades are not required, they are your choice.
