I'm 15 years behind on albums!! 1980s: One-hour photo finishing. 1990s: 30-minute photo finishing. And now, the digital miracle. 2000s: Four-month photo finishing.
Good timing for this story arc. I am in the middle of scanning Dad’s collection of slides (over a thousand of them) since bulbs for slide projectors are getting a little hard to find. At least his are organized and labelled – well, most of them are. I am limiting my editing to rotating and flipping as required – avoiding the trap of spending time enhancing and cropping. Fun project though – looking at family pictures taken over 5 decades ago – was I ever that young?
