Mom: Before you were even born, I dreamed of the day you'd fall in love, Cathy... I've dreamed of princes and castles and sweet little cottages... I've dreamed of showers and weddings and ten-foot tains... I've dreamed of babies and booties and happily ever after... ...And you couldn't even tell me you had a date?? Cathy: I didn't want to get your hopes up. Mom: I'm a mother! My hopes are stuck in teh up position.
Hi there, and good morning to all… Cathy’s Mom is right, a lot of mothers have their baby girl’s love life all decided before the baby can even lift her head (probably even before the baby is born and her parents know she is a girl). However, as an old saying goes, the best laid plans of mice and men oft go astray… And drive their mothers nuts when their daughters are adults with no “real” romance in sight. Besides, Cathy’s Mom, she’s only in the beginnings of the dating game…no fairy-tales here yet! ;)
