The mental chaos and emotional overload of the 21st century, summed up in one innocent packing remark... "Don't forget to toss in a pair of sneakers."
My husband has five pairs of sneakers. I have one. I detest shoe shopping and purchase shoes by function, not looks. I have one pair each of sandals, boots, grubby shoes, work shoes, and dress shoes. I cannot comprehend why anyone would want more than that…except for kids shoes, which need duplicates for all the times they can’t find them.
